I discussed the bond_entry issue with Ben offline.  It turns out, that
it's better to reset the bond_entrys, but not required for correct
operation.  I'm in the middle of implementing bond_entry reset for
these two patches and it turns out to be slightly more involved than I
expected.  I'm going to go ahead and merge these patches as they are,
and submit another patch later today which resets the bond_entrys.
