I'm mimicking RPM's convention for expressing shared library 
dependencies in terms of the library names rather than the packages in 
which they reside. Obviously that doesn't translate literally to the 
kernel, but I thought it would be recognizable to people familiar with 
RPM deps on shared libraries.

I did look around on the web to see if any distro had a standard way of 
expressing dependencies on kernel modules from userspace packages but 
came up empty handed. If you find something that you think we should use 
instead, I'd be happy to change it.
