It looks like you moved ')' while applying the second patch:
- DPDK_INCLUDE=$(echo "$DPDK_INCLUDE" | sed 's/-march=[[^ ]]*//g')
+ DPDK_INCLUDE=$(echo "$DPDK_INCLUDE" | sed 's/-march=[[^ ]]*//g'
I don't think that it will work correctly.
Force-push could solve this. :)
