[ovs-discuss] error when run "service openvswitch-switch start"

dear ben and openvswitch community,

i just start to use openvswitch, at this stage it doesn't matter whether or
not knowing why enabled brcompat, but i will centainly know it in a very
short while. if the openvswitch expert like you can give me a brief
explanation, then i can save my time to do the reading. but if no one can
give me this sort of explanation, then i will certainly to explore it by
myself by sacrificing the time. i have a research mind, but think
commercially sometime, so efficiency will take account.

in short, due to bridge is removed, so brcompat is the replacement of the
removed bridge, so it should function similar as a bridge, due to the
system does need a "bridge". this is a very logical reasoning.
