 i am confused in port no. because what port no. i suppose to give with remote ip of p2 and p1 if i gave range or single port no. it stuck

./ovs-benchmark latency --remote 192.168.1.23:0-65536 --local 192.168.1.15:0-65536  it is not showing me an o/p.

i have simple setup of ovs under that  two machine p1:192.168.1.15 and p2:192.168.1.23
and try with bench mark

sudo ./ovs-benchmark latency --remote 192.168.1.15 --sockets 1 --batches 1
 output is like
     1 !
min 1 ms, max 1 ms, avg 1 ms.
do i need to run controller i not able to understand about the remote ip is it no. of host ips under ovs ?
and does the latency time is show only socket connection time?
