[ovs-discuss] Using OVS+Host sFlow to monitor network traffic

Did you actually configure sFlow?  The commands you listed below don't indicate that.  You should either look at the example in ovs-vsctl (and read the ovs-vswitchd.conf.db man page) or follow Peter Phaal's suggestion.
