[ovs-discuss] Openvswitch compatibility with v3.10

Hi Guys,

We were looking to use openvswitch for one of our projects but after
some investigation,
it looks as if this is only supported for versions upto v3.8.. When I
tried to compile it
forcefully for 3.10 by updating version information in
datapath/datapath.c, I got around
incompatibility issues within header files present in ovs and kernel,
ex: include/net/gre.h..

Are there any plans or work in progress for the same.

I know some part of OVS is already part of upstream kernel but we
probably need to
use features that are present in out-of-kernel version.
