[ovs-discuss] Openvswitch not replying to requests

HI All,

I've installed openvswitch on an Ubuntu 12.04 machine which has 2 wireless
interfaces. I read the fAQ where it says that there is a problem doing so
mainly because the access points dont allow. ( also read that using MAC
address rewriting this can be solved -- which is something which can be
achieved using openflow rules ). Also asked MIRC and they told me
specifically not to try as it wont work and to try in another way. However
the problem does not seem to be coming from the wlan card or ap. The ap has
been ported to openflow and i'm associating with the same source mac
therefore the AP is seeing only 1 mac.

The problem is for example attaching to floodlight controller ( to have
learning module enabled) i try to ping host a from host b ( which has the
wlan nic) . Ping is unsucessful noticed that arp requests from host a to b
and from host b to a arriving. However they are not answered from host b
(however host b is reaching a as i've checked with wireshark)


So to recap the ovs has only this is the setup

veth1---br0---wlan0
               ----veth0

IP is only configured in veth1.

I have this setup because i would like to receive two flows of data from
host a to host b using openflow ( note that each flow will be on a separate
AP)
