Hi,
i am trying to understand ovs data path for that i tried pinging
a vm and i was able to see corresponding flow in data path using dpctl
dump-flows and it expired 5 seconds after i stopped ping.So far ok as per
my limited understanding about flow expiry time in data path.

But on high traffic server i am not able to see this,i did the same but
flow is not kept for 5 seconds.Even though flow appeared every +_10 seconds
and disappeared after 2-3 seconds.
* question1:*Is there any limit on number of flows that can be kept on data
path.
* question2:*What could be the reason for flow expiry when there is active
ping going on.
* Question3: *in this case when there was no flow in data path, why packets
didnt get dropped.

When i pinged with "*ping -i 0.1" *i was able to see flow again
with incremental *used* counter and some times negative value,it didn't
expire until i stopped ping*.*
*
*
Using OVS 1.4.1 cpu ~81% at the time of flow expiry

Regards,
Ananthan
