[ovs-discuss] Port counter update frequency

2 hosts directly connected to a machine running ovs. The openflow
controller (POX) runs on yet another machine. All bare metal, no VMs.
The goal is to measure the traffic passing through the switch using the
openflow protocol.
Versions:
Open vSwitch 1.7.3
Ubuntu 11.04
Kernel 2.6.38-11-generic-pae
