[ovs-discuss] Setup L2 or L3 forwarding in OVS

Hi All:

I wish to setup sometimes to measure latency with OVS. I'm looking at either a L2 forwarding (by port#, MAC, or VLAN) or L3 (by IP)

I think L2 based on port would be more ideal since it will not involve any flow table look up in userspace.
