With no flows in the OVS, none of the packets go to err state. However, as soon as i insert some flow, after a certain traffic rate (1 million in my case), additional packets go to 'err' state. Why is that?

  port 1: rx pkts=2873570624, bytes=?, drop=?, errs=?, frame=?, over=?, crc=? tx pkts=2882084096, bytes=?, drop=3144517160, errs=?, coll=? port LOCAL: rx pkts=0, bytes=0, drop=0, errs=0, frame=0, over=0, crc=0 tx pkts=5089045, bytes=305342700, drop=0, errs=0, coll=0 port 2: rx pkts=7987684360, bytes=511211800656, drop=0, errs=6454394673, frame=0, over=0, crc=0 tx pkts=49046613, bytes=3138983232, drop=0, errs=0, coll=0
You can see a lot of packets in 'err' in the above output.
