[ovs-discuss] Ovs-ofctl interoperability

Hi,
I'd like to know, can I use old ovs-ofctl(wdp codebase) with new OVS(ovs 2.3.0)? And do I need to advertise the OF variant(1.0 or 1.3) to OVS? If yes then how?
