[ovs-discuss] upstream Extending netdev-* port config options

Hi OVS wizards!

I have some fun extensions to things like netdev-dpdk and netdev-vport.
I can control them using ovs-vsctl by adding  ³options:foo=on ³ type of
fields.

Question: What else upstream do I need to touch to be able to do likewise
from say an ovsdb client?

Do I need to make the config known to ovsdb tables?
