Hi All,

     I am creating a OVS bridge and attaching two dpdk ports and two vhost-user ports. I am spawning a VM and attaching those two vhost-user ports. I am running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS in VM. I am testing performance in below scenario,

      Ixia  <---> dpdk0  <---> vhost-user1  <---> (Static L3 routing in VM) <---> vhost-user2 <---> dpdk1 <---> ixia

    I am able to run performance test, but after some time(around 10 minutes), we are seeing the below error message.

virtio_net virtio2: output.0:id 61 is not a head!

    After the above error, packet TX fails on one interface in VM. Below are the error messages in VM.

[ 1995.621245] net eth1: Unexpected TXQ (0) queue failure: -5
[ 1995.621251] net eth1: Unexpected TXQ (0) queue failure: -5
[ 1995.621257] net eth1: Unexpected TXQ (0) queue failure: -5

   I am using the below software versions,
          OVS   :  2.6.1
         DPDK : 16.07
        Qemu : 2.6.2
        Libvirt  : 1.3.5

  Could you please let me know what could be the issue?

Regards,
Bhanu.
