[ovs-discuss] Packet capturing on vHost User Ports

Hello,

I am trying to capture packets with tcpdump which unfortunately does not work with vhost user ports. It fails saying that there is “no such device” which is probably due to the fact that the vhost user ports are not recognized as proper interfaces by Linux.

Has anyone already thought about packet capturing on vhost user ports and has a solution?
